Can we Camp?

There is space for a 2 man tent next to Gypsy Rose, and we are able to offer limited camping for a few weeks each year. Please ask for details and availability.

No electric hook-ups or similar here; the site is not suitable for caravans, campers or similar.

Can we fish?

Not in our brook, but there are fishing lakes nearby.

Can we light a fire?

Yes!

Can we play music?

You're welcome to bring acoustic instruments and play for your own entertainment as long as you don't disturb our neighbours.

Remember, you're in a valley so sound WILL travel surprisingly far, especially in the evenings.

No electric or amplified music outside please.

Can we swim in the brook?

Yes, there are a couple of places where it may be deep enough.

The duck pond is strictly reserved for Ducks Only.

Can we chop wood?

Yes. We've provided a bill-hook and axe and plenty of logs for chopping. No chopping down trees though!

Can we order food from the farm?

Yes, you can order breakfasts, main meals, picnics, afternoon teas... just ask for a menu and give us 24 hours notice as everything is fresh and local.

NB. This is a working smallholding environment; guests stay at their own risk and are responsible for the behaviour and safety of their own children and pets on site.
